Recommendations for Hair & Make-up in Toronto, Ontario

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you could provide me with any recommendations based on experience. I have a bit of a hard time trusting vendors, even with photographs and reviews. I don't know perhaps I'm paranoid and weird.


I received one quote; over $1000 for hair and make-up for myself and 2 others. It also included a peak premium fee? (Is that normal?) The photographs and reviews for that one are both beautiful and positive but again, I'm having a bit of a hard time with proposed amount.


I'm not sure what the average cost of those services are for weddings. Any recommendations and feedback are much appreciated!

    Wow thats expensive. im paying 300 for hair and makeup. i went on ig and searched wedding makeup and messaged all the girls i liked their style and found a few in my price range then had a trial with my lady i booked with

    I opted to pay for everyone’s hair and make up as my gift to them. I just showed everyone their work so they felt comfortable and I booked!
    The Blush Parlour was the most cost effective place I found that I liked and the fact they’re able to come to my house the day of is even better!

    I’m using Michele Gomes, she comes to you. She’s located in Etobicoke so not too far.
    I’m paying $120 a service for bride & $100 a service for my girls.
    I’ve used her for multiple events she’s amazing! Smiley smile

    Yes, I'm trying to be mindful of my maid of honour and bridesmaid as well. I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable or feel as though they have to pay a high fee. This is one of the more stressful aspects of wedding planning, in my opinion.

    The quote you recieved does seem high. I used L'une Beauty Boutique from Toronto. They charge $90 per service (so $180 for both hair and makeup per person). We were all very pleased with our hair and makeup from them.

    That's more expensive than what I have quoted. I'm using the Blush Parlour in Toronto and for me, my sister (MOH), mom and grandma hair and make up it's like $850 including tax.

    I've had some friends use FancyFace Inc. I don't know the pricepoint but I know they did an excellent job.
