Unfortunately those were released last week same time as the reopening, nothing new there

I just posted this in another thread! Ontario updated industry-specific guidelines on their website: https://www.ontario.ca/page/reopening-ontario

They have details for Wedding Ceremonies (not including receptions). I think receptions fall under Gatherings if you do it at home, but under Event Spaces if you do it at an actual wedding hall or venue.

For stage 2 the e-laws now confirms it would apply to social gatherings connected to weddings. max 10 inside and max 25 outside. https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/200263#BK8

Yeah, I think youre right - they are calling stage 2 the 'red zone' (i thought colours were supposed to be gone????). Is this the guidance you're referring to? If so this one was last published Dec 2020. https://www.ontario.ca/page/guidelines-gatherings-and-winter-holiday-celebrations

I found a link through the Ontario website that says that the 25 is for private dwellings. In stage III it’s a specific numbers that being 50 inside and 100 outside. But in stage two it doesn’t get specific numbers it just references physical distancing.

Maybe gathering limits is for unstaffed gatherings like in backyard or park, while staffed venues can go based on capacity with two meters apart. Like the colour code originally, this rollout is missing a ton of information. Why can't our government figure it out fully before sending this stuff out. Ugh.

That’s how I interpreted it too .. I guess we have to wait and see and maybe call around different venues and see what they know as I’m sure they’ll find out for their own purposes too
