Hi everyone ! I’m having my reception at a banquet hall. I’ve been looking into different DIY decor ideas but am not sure what to have at the reception lobby ? I’m doing a seating chart but I’ve seen people use mirrors with a greeting poster (date of wedding and couple name) or a pic of themselves, do people do both ? I’m not sure if I should have a pic of me and my fiancé or something decorative ? Any suggestions are welcome please even to know in general what people do!

    We also did a Welcome Sign - made it bilingual as most of my side is Spanish. My hubby was firm on no pictures of him anywhere Smiley xd

    We did a welcome sign that I found on Etsy and it said "We're so glad you're here" with our names and date. Turned out nice and it was a nice visual for guests to see before coming into the main room Smiley smile

    My favourite I have seen are the large welcome boards that says “welcome to our wedding” with the couples names and the date.
