Real, faux, or paper flowers? What kind of flowers are you using?

We're using artificial flowers, and wouldn't of had it in any other way. Flowers was one of the least important aspect to us in our wedding planning.

We used real. It was one of the things my mom wasn't budging on and she offered to pay for them.

If it weren't for that, I would've done faux or some other alternative (i.e. peacock feather fan).

We didn't do bouquets since it wasn't much to include for a small wedding. We did use fake flower balls white for reception centerpieces on top of square vases.

Hayfever is my biggest reason for fake. I don't want to be a sniffling, sneezing mess (plus my mother and MOH also have huge issues with real flowers) I am going with the sola flowers. I have them all ready to dye whatever colour I want. Can't wait for Christmas to be over to start.

I'm leaning towards faux flowers. I love the idea of being able to save a little cash and hopefully sell them afterwards.


For years I wanted a paper bouquet made of book pages! So I might still go that route.

We're going to splurge on real flowers. I found a florist who I really want to work with and honestly the good looking fake flowers seemed like it would be similar in cost for the look that I want

Our flowers will be real. A few of the flowers in my bouquet will be preserved roses so I'll be able to keep them and they'll look nice and alive for a while.

We had real flowers, that was important to me.
Here is my bouquet the day after.

We're using a combination of real and faux. The wedding party flowers will be real, but we're going to have fake greenery for centrepieces (with a few real roses scattered), a ceremony arch, and all the smaller details.

Real for us! This was an easier decision because my mom offered to help us out with them

This way not only did it save on the cost, but I get to keep it forever!! Lol it's still my dining room table centre piece even this close to Christmas

I wanted something that I would cherish forever, and I'm not much of a flower girl, so I went with a bouquet made from the pages of my favourite book and are shaped into roses. Then there are tiny little purple paper flowers throughout too to accent my wedding colour. I thought I had a picture on my phone :/
