Questions for Wedding Decorator

Questions I asked my decorator at the time was about their services of setting up and breaking down. What they can do and what time they would start once the hall is available. I found out that the decorator charged for breaking down since its extra after hours.

Materials and backdrops are charged by yard and size of the head table. Drapery/skirting should be inquired too if choosing pattern or style.

I asked how much the delivery fee is. Whether the overall price includes set up and take down.

Something our decorator does thats cool is she will do a “mock set up” of our decor so we can see what it’ll look like in the venue (she holds it at the venue). I would do this as well if it’s included in the price!

Thanks! I know what items she has to decorate.. they will all be mine lol I am pretty much paying her to come set up a back drop and the greenery table runners the day of. I wish I could do it myself, but I do not want to be doing that the morning of my wedding.

I had a friend recently hire a wedding decorator and became shocked when she realized they didn't include the items that she wanted decorate with. I would ask her base fee and what this included- how many hours and list of her duties. Some only include the set up and take down and few other things. When they would need into your venue by to make sure she is able to. When you need to give her inventory of items and what type of style you would like set up. If you can see her previous work. If any references ect
