Question - premier lighting

Hello everyone my fiancé and I trying to decide if we need premier lighting for our wedding reception . Who has one , who doesn’t and if it’s even necessary?

    All or nothing? thats horrible i would speak with them again and put my foot down.

    Yea they have a DJ and lighting package and u have to pay for both even though we are bring our own DJ.

    That’s a little much if your venue is telling you all or nothing. Our venue just has the lights on low for dinner and then they go right down for dancing.
    Our DJ brings in lights for the dance portion but we were able to pick and choose what lighting we wanted and how much.

    I picked and chose what we wanted! i didnt need everything in their regular package so i made my own package and it was a lot cheaper

    I tried googling what premier lighting is but have no clue as nothing really shows up other than a company...

    Are you talking about up lighting? Or the lights on the ceiling? Or like a customized light?
