Proposal

My FH ask me all the time if I will marry him. Hows down on one knee and everything.
My response is always the same “there’s no ring so you’re not really asking”. He event has made a tissue paper ring, a hair tie ring, a sock ring an more or less anything he can get ahold of at the time.

He’s currently saving up for a ring since he wants to follow the three months salary rule (I think it’s ridiculous). However yesterday we went and put a deposit down for our venue so hoping I get a ring soon at this point we’re engaged without a ring.

Congratulations on your engagement! My mom was proposed to without and engagement ring because they just couldn’t afford it. On their 20th wedding anniversary my dad got down on one knee with an engagement ring. It was such a special moment for them. Hopefully you won’t have to wait 20 years lol! You are right though, it’ll be worth the wait.

We have a ring picked out. Just waiting for some finances to clear up before purchasing .

I proposed with a couple of bracelets from Claire's that said "His one" and "Her only" on them. I did that Dec. 30th 2017, but then he insisted on getting my Dad's permission to marry me so we waited just over a week before announcing our engagement. From there we booked an appointment with his jeweller and had it custom made for me I think from the time we told people and us going for a consultation for a ring it was about 3-4 weeks.

Hey congratulations on the engagement!

My FH proposed to me with a placeholder ring. It was big and flashy and definitely made me look forward to receiving my "official" engagement ring. I had to wait around 3 months before I finally got it but it was so worth it! Now I love my ring
