Thank you, Kate. I'm trying to connect with other mature brides on this site. I will be 58 next week so I have some things in common with the younger set but coming from a different generation gives us an alternative perspective. How do you have private conversations on this site?

Hi Kate, I'm also a mature bride. You've chosen a lovely song for walking down the aisle. We'll also be having a guitarist for our wedding. Check out my list and let me know what you think.

I've chosen "May It Be" by Enya for the processional, "The Prayer" for signing of the register, and Bob Marley's "One Love" for the recessional. We'll be having a classical guitarist for the entire event, and a vocalist for "May It Be" and "The Prayer".

We are getting a harpist and I have picked 3 specific songs, for the processional (bridesmaids and me) Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, for the signing Carribean Blue (Enya) and for the recessional Fields of Gold (Sting) I am so excited for the harp!!!

Mine will all be classic rock and pop/rock haha i will actually be walking down to the song Hooked on a Feeling 😁

we heard the game of thrones theme song and my FH looked and me and was like okay not for processional but maybe whie guests are being seated??? i laughed and ws like we shall see lol

While people are getting settled in their chairs the music will be Spanish Guitar and I am walking down the aisle to "from this Moment on"

I asked if I could do the imperial march, or the doctor who theme song, but both were a no go with the FH. We think we might pick some music from one of our favourite shows, something that evokes exploration for the new chapter in our lives.

I'm torn... I've lived the idea of the string quartet instrumental version of don't stop believing since I heard it in the wedding singer forever ago. But I'm also tempted by an instrumental of Beauty and the Beast...

We will have a solid guitarist for the ceremony. I plan to walk down the aisle to an instrumental version of All of Me by John Legend

We are using Pachebacl Canon in D and for my entrance "A Dream Cone True" by Jazmin and Michaelangelo Cruz.

I'm between Once In A Lifetime or Best Part of Me. Both by Landon Austin. I'm leaning more towards the former.

I'm not 100% sure but I'm leaning towards L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole. I prefer motown music because it feels a bit lighter tome.
