Procession are you keeping it traditional or having fun?

Carine, on November 15, 2022 at 15:17 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 18

My plan is to have the boys jam it out to a song they all enjoy, so they can have their moment and their shine.

Then I was thinking his grandparents, his parents, my party then me and my pops.

What are your plans? have you thought this far? Do you have ideas of how you would like to see it?

That all sounded perfect. It's nice that she included her stepmother, it's not easy losing a mother, I am having a hard time planning my wedding without my mom being there every step.

We had each person walk in, one at a time. My parents walked down the aisle with me, followed by the groomsmen and bridesmaids and then the matron of honor/best man. My wife walked down the aisle with both her father and her stepmother (her mother has been gone over 30 years).

We kept it simple as we had little kids as the flower kids and the wedding party in between them as the kids went to their seats and the wedding party went down the steps for the ceremony. It was a small wedding and nothing too extravagant.

I guess with my mom gone, I want to include everyone in the ceremony, make them a part of my family. I have this need to include his parents in every step. it's weird.

It was honestly the best way to go since we only had my maid of honor and best man standing up for us

Oh god who still walks down the aisle to the wedding march, I have that song as a superstition that it's a bad luck song lol. We are having lawn games, so I am pretty sure the boys will be there while the girls back their asses up.

Smart, The boys are super excited for my FH so I thought I would allow them all have their moment to a song they all enjoy. Something not so serious until it's my turn lol.

Starting a new wedding trend, where anything goes, it's nice to see that people are changing it up.

We will be doing a nice walk, in but to songs that mean something to us, not the wedding march. Going into reception however.... watch out we have the worst best dance moves you will ever see.

My husband does not like alot of attention, nor do his friends, so we had them already waiting for us at the front, then had my MOH walk down, then my mom and me. Was kinda nice this way, as it allowed yes to get the legalities out of the way to party!! Also meant I had less music to figure out, as we really just had two songs, our entrance and exit.

Our immediate family is our wedding party so we are going to have them go in one at a time to each have their time in the spotlight. they will be announced by their name and relation to us ie: Lucas son of the groom etc.

We are planning on having a first dance that will surprise everyone, so we want to make sure everyone are in their seats ...cue the dance lessons!

I don't want to keep it traditional, I would rather family go with the crowd and sit down, have my FH wedding party walk down, then him, after have my wedding party walk down, then myself and my dad. So I would say 50/50 traditional and different.

Since both his parents have passed and he has no other family, I didn't want to put too much attention on my side. My parents will walk in with the other guests. FH will walk in with his Best Man, then my MOH will walk in by herself and then me.

My husband and I kept it traditional with our processional. My husbands mom and step dad walked him down the aisle then his dad and step mom walked down. Our best man walked my mom down the aisle and my moh walked down by herself. And then myself with my dad
