I know no words or any kind of uplifting will change the fact that your weddings had to be postponed, but for those who did have to push their wedding back, have you guys planned anything to do on the day it was supposed to happen? (Although it may turn into an emotional day for negative reasons instead) like have a special dinner with your fiancé or something

    We haven’t planned anything really. Ours is in a few weeks and I’m not looking forward to that day.

    This is so so lovely. If gathering restrictions and distancing measures have eased off a bit by August we plan to take a couple close friends up to the cottage for the weekend. Since we postponed by one year almost to the day, we will approach it as a -1 year anniversary party ahah. Positive spin.

    We haven't made the decision yet, we're waiting until July to decide. I'm hopeful that if we need to postpone the reception we can still get legally married on our date. Then we can push the reception to our anniversary!

    Hey! If we are able we are planning to have a BBQ with friends/family. However, this obviously will be dependent on where we are at with the pandemic.

    We also postponed June 2020 - June 2021.

    Yesterday would have been our wedding day. To make it special, we had a Zoom drink (okay, many drinks) with both sets of parents, my grandparents, my aunt and uncle, and our nephew. We dressed up in clothes that we all would have worn to the resort. We told stories, and there were some informal speeches shared. We honestly had a fantastic time and it was really great to connect with our families to celebrate our would have been day!
