Postponed my September Wedding

Hey everyone!



Just an update on what's been going on. We officially postponed our wedding from September 5th to June 5th, 2021. At first I didn't want to postpone because I felt upset. But now that I have put things in perspective, it just didn't seem fair to go as planned with people probably canceling due to not feeling safe. Also, I'm in Ontario and the government has said nothing about American borders opening up anytime soon! (we have guests coming out the country)
If you have postponed to next year, what is your new date and how are you coping with the change?

    We postponed from June 2020. Our new date is September 18, 2021. It was definitely crappy, to say the least, but it was the right thing to do. And we feel SO much better now. Like you said, it wouldn’t have been what we envisioned. What’s another year at this point. We’ve been together for 9 years, we are moving in together soon, so we joke around that we are essentially already married lol.
    It will be worth with the wait for our days! All the best!

    We still have some time. We are already next year but in February so we will see in a few months what is going on. We only have one person out of province that may or may not come so we are stuck in wait and see limbo. I think if we were in this year we would look to postpone because we are in Ontario too.
