Our wedding date is June 6, 2020 and we are getting married in Muskoka, we're expecting 80 people plus vendors. We decided to wait until the beginning of May to make a decision on post poning, as we were holding on as long as we could in hopes of having our wedding. Recently we have lost hope and have been talking about dates to post pone to. I just received an email from my venue today, stating that our wedding date is a go and would like to confirm details. I also received an email from 2 of our vendors, stating that they are a go as well. I was very surprised by these emails, as I expected to be getting the opposite. I would love more than anything to go ahead with out date and clearly take extreme precautions. However, it will be a rush as our wedding planning has been on hold, and I'm not even sure if it is legal to have a wedding of this capacity. I am assuming that if a well known resort is planning to go ahead, they must be able to from a legal standpoint? How do I ensure this and I guess I am looking for opinions on going ahead on this date. I think it may be way too soon....
