I am a moderator on a The FB Page called Edmonton and Area Wedding Bridal Buy and Sell and Lucent Bridal is having a sample sale of their dresses from size 0-30. Every dress is up to 50% off and you have to call to make an appointment as walk ins are limited. They are located at 10406 68 Ave NW in Edmonton. Just thought I would let you know. I'm sure there are more, but this is what I found right off the bat. I also haven't personally been, but I've heard David's Bridal has some good options in plus sizes and are more affordable than other boutiques if that's a factor.

If you don't mind online retailers like Azazie, Birdy Grey, JJs House etc, a lot of them offer plus size options on a lot of their designs and they show you what the difference is between them. It won't be the same experience as going to an in-store boutique and quality can vary widely but it's an option if you can't find anything in person.

Also, I live in the NWT, not sure what the travel restrictions are like between provinces right now but there is an amazing place in Saskatoon, SK (a day trip away) called W Bridals that only deals in Plus-Sized Bridal and they were amazing with my daughter.
