Hi everyone, i would like to ask do i need to write place cards for ourselves (bride and groom) and vendors? Also for your parents, did you guys write their names only or wrote “mother of bride/groom” in stead of their names? Please help! Thx!

I'm not doing place cards at the tables. I have a seating chart and table numbers, after that it's up to them where they sit at the table. I'm keeping kids with their parents and siblings with siblings. That way if all the kids want to sit Together they can.

You don't need one for yourself or the groom. For the parents, Mother of the Bride/Groom and Father of the Bride/Groom each and the normal names for rest of the family. Put the names per couple and per individual. If the guesy has their bf or gf with them, put their nanes on one card.

Cut down on the cards as much as possible. I did the same by not putting my family names on the table as they knew where they were sitting.

I would say no as long as your wedding party (if they are sitting with you at the head table) has their own place cards then it's taken as obvious that the bride and groom will be sitting in the middle beside each other. I myself love attention and will be doing a sweetheart table if I have any say in the matter and will still probably put a MR. & MRS. sign like this one:

    Place cards 1

I would say that it's not something that you have to do but I would assume that your parents would appreciate the extra title as I know that I will when my non-existent children get married eventually.

As for the photographer, DJ, and other vendors I would for sure put their title under the card as it will allow for other guests when they are doing a walk around of the reception before sitting that those are the vendors.

I would write peoples names out fully even the vendors! But I will do something like

    Mom's Name

    *Mother of the Bride*

    Photographer's Name

    *Photographer*

So it's personal but still gives a title?

If your refering to escort cards style, i wrote everyones name personally. As for vedors, thank you cards were given out including venue.

If your doing your fmailies and vendors only, then habd write yourself or get it printed on a site provided.
