Neither! We're opting for pies. Neither of us are huge fans of cake, so it is a tradition we are skipping!

Neither, we are having doughnuts instead. Probably 4 different kinds. I think that our buffet also comes with a dessert option which is some kind of cake so we will have that too since it's included, but it won't be on display like the doughnuts will be.

We are doing a dessert buffet with one tier for cutting, cupcakes that match and a variety of desserts for everyone to enjoy. Not everyone likes cake, and with it being a very rustic wedding we wanted it to be more like when you go to grandmas and she has pie, cookies, brownies, etc.

We're serving cake. I wanted to make my own but our wedding is in less than 2 weeks and I don't know if I'll have the time. If not, I'm just ordering a slab cake from Costco. Less stress.

I like the idea of cupcakes. For my wedding we had just a one tier cake for us to cut, and then 3 different kinds of cupcakes for all the guests to enjoy. This way we got the best of both worlds.
