I am looking for recommendations for a photographer. My daughter is getting married in October. We just want a basic package as neither my daughter or her fiancé want to spend a lot on photographs. I have a relative that does photography and he will also be taking photos. I don’t want him spending all his time taking photos as that’s not fair as he is an invited guest as well.

"Basic packages" can mean different things for different people. Are you talking just an elopement package for someone to only cover the ceremony? Do they need getting ready photos? Engagement photos? Photos during the reception?

Since they don't want to spend much on photography, are they willing to settle for someone less experienced?
You can find photographers of asll price ranges on the vendor listings here or on places like kijiji and local Facebook wedding groups.
