Photographer in lower mainland

As the PPs mentioned, it may be difficult to find someone with this budget, however, this doesn't mean you couldn't find a photographer in training or a student. You could reach out to local schools with classes and see if anyone there would be interested perhaps.

I found it hard to find any photographers at that price - my best suggestions are to either go with a student photographer looking to beef up their portfolio, to see about discounts for having an "off season" wedding, or to wait until closer to the date and see if those who are left are willing to come down in price.

Make sure you tell them your budget straight from the start to see if they would be able to do less photography time or something to make it work.

I think it would be extremely difficult to find a photographer in this area with that budget. You might be able to find a newer photographer or a photog in training at a lower price. Or maybe even ask a friend who is pretty good a photography?
