There's usually local wedding groups on facebook. I would just do a search and see what comes up.

For us in Manitoba, there's a couple groups like "Winnipeg weddings buy and sell", or the more active "all things wedding Manitoba".

These groups are a great resource for finding local vendors, and buying/selling wedding decor.

Actually...Becky...can you recommend a wedding swap site? Like thru Facebook?

Thank you for your advise. I'm not interested in a DJ. I'm looking for live music. Or a recommendation if anyone knows of a great band let me know. Photography the same. Any suggestions? Someone who doea out of the normal more candid moments.

Forget the DJ part. Photographers packages vary on what's included and on pricing. Some work towards your budget and customize the package.

Inquire with DJs about the music you want played and if they can accommodate to your event. Live bands will depend whom you choose based on the songs they sing. I can't say personally to know about live bands that play rock n' roll.
