We are spending somewhere between $5 to $6k on our photagrapher for I think 8 hours? The package includes a complimentary engagement shoot. We think it's good money for what we were looking for because we were both very picky with photos and we really like the style of our photographer.

I agree that 4 hour is a bit too short unless you are looking for an elopement.

4 hours of coverage isn’t very much unless it’s just an elopement. I found it extremely difficult to find a good photographer in Vancouver for less than $2500 for a full day. Most started at $3000 and there were a lot in the $4-5000 range.
We originally booked ours for $2250 which I thought was an amazing deal. I did so much research to find her haha. If we didn’t find her I’m sure we would’ve had to spend another $1000 to find anyone we liked.

That seems a little steep for just 4 hours of coverage but every photographer is different. I would honestly look around. You might be able to find a better price for your money and time.

My fiance and I are paying $2,500 for 12 hours of coverage, 2 shooters, 500+ photos, A photo album and our photos will be delivered on a USB drive
