Photo booth yes or no

Hey I'm doing a destination wedding in Mexico I'm November and have recently found a photo booth company that looks awesome but quite pricey.The costs listed in usd would be around 550 to 1100 for 2 hours.
The price for the lowest of 550 gives you 3 long photos with three small pictures each and your chosen wedding logo minimum of 2 hours 250/hour.
The 2nd option I was more keen on if it wasn't for the steep price gives you 3 identical flip books which is a series of 50 photos that when you flip gives you a moving type image. Minimum 2 hours for 550/hour. I like this option because it seems different.
I have seen people use one of the photos from the 1st option in a guest book, where as I'm not too sure what I would do with the flip book after other than pure entertainment value.
But I was also thinking of using the tree type guest book ideas and just bring down the leaves to sign, there for less luggage.
So anyways what I am contemplating is having something entertaining for my guests. I have looked at diy options to save money but as I am travelling I really don't want to bring a bunch more stuff that I won't use again and probably won't want to bother with selling.
Does this seem super steep for photo booth prices it's my first time contemplating this idea and so hard to look in a different country.
