Parent Dances

My favourite song for mother son dance is a simple man... it's a lynard skynard song but it's been covered a couple times if they aren't your style... and father daughter - butterfly kisses.. I think it's been used a lot but sooooooooooo good. My pick would be Zoe jane by Staind but I don't think we're doing organized dances.

My brother won’t come to my wedding so I’m having my sister in law from my husband who passed away walk me down the aisle and give me away, and so I also can’t have him dance with me in place of my dad who passed away, so some think I should ask my new father in law, but I’m lost as to what song to use.

Dance with brothers - There you'll be - Faith Hill

I love that you are going to dance with all your brothers. I like Wildflower by Tom Petty. I don't have a suggestion for mother son dance.

I haven't set it in stone as I haven't even brought it up to my Dad just yet - but I was thinking of the song Slow Down by Nichole Nordeman It works for Father-Daughter or Mother-Son but I'm not sure if it would work for Brothers-Sister though. All depends on how old they were and if they even remember you being born I suppose.
