Outside Ceremonies

I personally am not getting married outside but it is nice to see. i just get too hot in the sun

This is the best pic I have, we are getting married in our local park. Huge open space with a pond around it. The park is less than half a block from our house & it's where we got engaged/did our baby announcements/family photos. It's our spot ❤️

Our venue had an outdoor wedding site that was beautiful and set up for vendors not to be disturbed of their work on the lower level from where the guests were sitting. The lake/nature view was amazing in the background as no décor was needed with the simplicity of the huge flower pots set around the rail edge.

We had ours outside! Originally it was supposed to be on the dock on the river, but due to the river rising and running fast the dock was pulled out of the water and we got married in their other ceremony site instead Ended up raining that day too!

While my venue does have an outdoor ceremony space that is very pretty we decided there is no way we are going outside in February or making our guests go out in February lol. Everything will be inside for us. If I had a different season I would definitely go with outdoor.

Ours is also outside but our venue has a bunch of different location options on the property and we haven't decided on one yet.

I didn't want to get married outside, but that was the only ceremony space available at my venue. The selling point was that all the guests had shade cover. I didn't want them burning in the sun or drenched if it rained. It turned out really beautifully, and it was a great weather day (although very hot), so it all turned out for the best.
