Hey!

So we’re planning a very intimate elopement, with perhaps 2-6 people to witness besides ourselves this summer. We’re on a very small, tight budget and was looking for free or cheap outdoor spots in the Edmonton and surrounding area that would have nice surroundings for photos.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Check out Fort Edmonton Park Footbridge.
It's a beautiful area. My fiance and I got our engagement photos done there

If you are in Calgary in Inverness (McKenzie Towne) you can contact the Towne hall and they will let you use to Gazebo free of charge.

I'm in Saskatchewan but I just booked a provincial park site in off-season at no charge. I just have to take care of chairs/set up & take down.
Not sure how AB parks run but on my application the charges were based off of if staff assistance was needed and/or blocking off areas.
