Outdoor reception venue

I have been looking for a nice outdoor reception venue for an intimate reception with few friends but it seems to be a challenge. I reside in Ottawa and it doesn’t look like there is much option to choose from. My backyard is not ready and even if it is, we can’t use it as we would be disturbing the neighbors with the loud music because it’s a townhome. I want a venue that my friends and I can play loud music and have fun without causing a nuisance (somewhere that is private). Any idea?

    I live in Ottawa and I am open to hosting it in Ottawa or Gatineau. I will check rooftops and see if I can find anything.

    Loud music will be subject to local noise bylaws regardless of where you go, especially if you're outside.

    Where are you hosting the ceremony? Is there something nearby?

    How many are you hosting for a reception? Maybe try one of the restaurants at Byward Market? They might have some patio/rooftop options that you can buy out.
