I got my dress at David's Bridal in London, they had a great selection of dresses off the rack for size 20+ which was great. I went through similar problems with my local stores as well. I know how disappointing it is to be told "Just imagine it fitting", it's really discouraging and somewhat insulting as well. If you're up North, Lindgren's Bridal in Sudbury had actually a surprising amount of plus-size dresses and the staff are very nice and great at pulling dresses.

That is very disappointing. Depending on where you are, a road trip to a bigger city near you might be a fun and better experience.

Most dress shops carry plus size dresses, you will need to try on their sample sizes and they order the size you would need then customize it. David Bridal is big and has locations everywhere. But I would call around a few shops in your area and go from there.

I was able to find my dress off the rack at Davids Bridal in Mississauga. I believe they go up to a size 26.

Obviously not a Ontario bridal shop lol
