Does anyone know if there is a provincial regulation enforcing masks inside a wedding venue? Or is it based on the local public health bylaws?

I am not have my ceremony if we all have to wear masks. I’ve already given up SO much I’m not having all my photos ruined by masks. Wedding isn’t until October so just need to know what spot I’ll have to watch for any changes involving mask rules. I think it’s the local public health but the owner of the venue I’m using said provincial so now I’m second guessing myself?

As Genevieve mentioned, it’s by municipality.

Right now where we’re getting married masks are mandatory inside public spaces (venues included) until November 30, 2020.

The mask bylaws are local so you will have to check with your local municipality and your venue. Each region varies so you’d be best to ask your venue how they’ve been handling their covid weddings for a direct answer.
