Ontario extending expiry date for Marriage License

It's not official yet but this is what the province is pushing for regarding your marriage license (if anyone here got one prior to or during covid with the intention to use it but couldn't).

"The province is proposing to extend the expiry date for most marriage licences issued between December 1, 2019, and the end of the province-wide Declaration of Emergency due to COVID-19. These licences would still be valid and could be used for up to 24 months from the end of the Declaration of Emergency."

    FYI for anyone who received their marriage license prior to July 24, you have 24 months from its issued date to extend your license to your wedding day.
