Hi Johanna,
While I can't say how online dance lessons will go, for my husband and I, we watched some videos online and on Instagram and just practiced in our kitchen to our song for about a month prior. We wanted to incorporate some special moves and honestly everyone at our wedding was so impressed and thought we had actually paid for lessons.
So don't be afraid to just watch some online for free! Weddings can already be so expensive and there are great free tools online.
