I've been thinking very hard to surprise the bride past weeks.

Flowers, clothes or candle dinner all sounds good but not enough.

At the moment I decided to write her a poem/book decided to her (since I'm a writer..)

Any light-bulb(ing) idead?

I honestly think the fact that you're thinking of doing something special for your bride is special in itself. If you are going on your honeymoon right away, you could upgrade to a honeymoon pkg or have the hotel put champagne and rose petals on your bed. I'd definitely write a letter or poem for her to read before she walks down the aisle.

This idea is a win for me!! The dinner is nice - but you have one wedding right? Why not give it to her like this!? I would love to carry it around, and bonus points if she wears glasses!

I think a poem is a lovely idea! Write a poem and maybe have it stitched on a handkerchief to give to her on the wedding day! Etsy.com has a lot of custom handkerchiefs you can embroider and I'm sure they can put your poem on one!
