November Wedding Ceremony Ideas- Reception in Summer

Heidi, on September 13, 2021 at 20:16 Posted in Wedding ceremony 0 2

Hi all,

due to new covid restrictions, my fiance and I have decided to proceed with an outdoor wedding ceremony only and to put off the reception for a later date. I'm looking for ideas on how a ceremony only should/could look. Do we have to have food? Is it a good idea? If you had a ceremony only what did it look like?

thanks!

A simple wedding can have minimal decor as the main ceremony can have an arch or stand with draping and flowers. Some refreshments can be kept on a table for guests to enjoy.

Are you hosting it at your venue or home? If so, I think having some light refreshments and small snacks would be a nice token to say thank you. Guests could have it during when you take photos or you give it out at the end when they leave.

I would do individual cans/bottles instead of pitchers/punch bowls for sanitary reasons. Sweets can be individually packaged as well, like slices of cakes, sweet buns, macarons, etc. We gave out bottles of beer and packaged pastries as our favours.
