Nov 2018 Wedding Centerpiece ideas

Martie, on February 20, 2018 at 15:27 Posted in Wedding reception 0 5

Hi! I'm looking for ideas for centerpieces for an early November wedding... just tough to know if there will be snow or not as might still feel more like a fall wedding than a winter one.

Gorgeous! I pulled a few pictures that you might like, they are from WeddingWire's Pinterest page and all include wood decor

Our theme is more rustic, the reception is in a historic log cabin and our colours are navy for the men and like a red wine/burgundy for the ladies. Kind of looking at using round sliced wood for the centerpieces and probably candles decorated in some way.

I agree with both Breanne and Joey, twig or vine wreaths are wonderful as you can change them up with different types of flowers and candle centers....I am actually making some DYI wreaths myself. You can gather the branches in September, October and have them for November... and it saves on budget...but if you do not do DYI projects it might be a bit more costly....but wreaths also go well with Birch wood, which can be used as simple centerpieces wrapped with burlap cord....all rustic and goes well with fall or even winter like conditions...Hope you find your inspiration soon....it is crazy how fast time passes by in the beginning stages of planning to the actual day of the wedding..Good Luck...I will post some of my DIY later..

I love Breanne's ideas! Have you chosen colors yet, Martie? For additional ideas I'd recommend you look through some of our Real Weddings which took place in autumn, you may be able to get some inspiration there. I think items like straw and hay, pinecones, wreaths of vines and greenery, and wood (branches or slabs) could all work for a fall/winter wedding. What style do you want? Rustic, vintage, formal etc?

    Hi Maddie,

I think you can find a happy medium between the two seasons. It won't likely be fall weather (leaves changing etc) and may not have snow but something like this might be really classy and a way to avoid pumpkins and snowflakes

The white and gold combine the best of both seasons without looking too "seasonal".
