Need the perfect song

My Dad passed away 12 years ago, my brother passed away 2 years ago...I have no family to dance a father/daughter dance. The man I am dancing with has been in my life forever and is like a father, but I need a song that doesn't talk about Daddys girl or anything like that. My hubby will be dancing with his mom at the same time. My wedding is next Saturday...does anyone have any suggestions for an appropriate song???

    Hi Charlene! Congrats on getting married this weekend! I hope that everything is going well for you and isn't too stressful!

    I danced with a close family friend at our wedding instead of my dad and we used You've Got a Friend in Me by Randy Newman (from the movie Toy Story) and it worked really well! I agree that it's so hard to find songs that aren't about "father-daughter" and you have an extra challenge since your husband will also be dancing with his mom at the same time as you! My husband used You'll Be in My Heart by Phil Collins to dance with his mom.

    I really like your Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole! That sounds like it would work perfectly!

    This is our first dance song as well I love this song. Smiley heart My brother will be standing in for my dad. Dance with my father is the one I chose and Hero for my brother and I.

    Hi Simone...All of Me is going to be our first dance and Thinking out loud is more for the bride & groom to dance to. I'm looking more for a song about love that is not specific to anyone...just more of an everybody loves everybody song. I was on Google after I wrote this post and I think either My Wish by Rascal Flatts or Somewhere Over the Rainbow by the Hawaiian artist would be the best choices.
