Do you have a favorite artist between the two of you? You can pick a slow song based on an artist you like. Just make sure you go through the lyrics to ensure it's not sad. My fiancee suggested Celine Dion's "Because You Loved Me" and my first reaction was "I'm not dead..." 🤣

As for food, table stuff etc, does your venue provide catering or any table decor?

Great idea also for songs I would say I am the slow dance type while my partner is a slow dance but also likes fast pace too but is gentle and exciting beat

Regarding centerpiece giveaway, I went to a wedding where the dj started playing music, everyone got up and went around their own table when the music stopped they sat down at a chair and looked below the chair to find a red sticker. Whoever had the red sticker won. Or you could play musical chairs to eliminate guests. You could also do sometype of bride and groom Trivia or Bingo.
