You are ambitious Mel! I'd love to make flowers, I even tried making denim flowers thinking that's what we would use!

I liked it, my fiance liked it too, but my mom but the kibosh on that,... so now we are going with real flowers!

I bought felt sheets from AliExpress and made my own but shipping took 2 months + and they were very time consuming to make. I did save a lot of money, but it only worked out cause I started so early. I am a keener, though. Made flowers for bouquets, boutonnieres and centre pieces.

Michael's has some great fake flowers that you could use.

I've been extremely frugal. I got my flowers from dollarama, value village, other thrift shops, and even some for free on freecycle. I got a bunch of tulle squares for free on varage sale and some white lights for free on freecycle. I'll be starting my arch very soon but my advice to you is check out thrift shops, etc. and gather, gather.

I didn't do this but I almost bought flowers at dollarama for my centrepieces, but went with candles instead -- if that helps
