Thats really stressful briana. Actually some of my visitors already informed me that if we will go for April 4 they will not attend because of this virus. its very hard to decide briana but thinking of everybody will thinking it would be better to postponed it. praying that this virus will stop. 🙏

I’m in the same boat, Diana, mine is April 18th and I’m afraid of what will happen. I’m starting to avoid everything but I know it isn’t the logical or rational thing to do. I’m concerned about reaching out to my vendors and them still wanting to go forward or cancel, but I also can’t stomach the thought of postponing as we’ve already been engaged for a year and a half... waiting patiently

    Hi Diana,
It seems you're not alone. A lot of spring brides are stressing about what will happen with their weddings in the coming weeks.

I would reach out to your vendors and begin a plan to postpone or what to do in the event you need to cancel. I would start with your venue, and follow with caterers and photographer. This isn't going to blow over, in fact it's probably going to get worse and carry on for several weeks. Find out if you can postpone and what dates are available and get help from friends, family, and your wedding party to contact all your vendors and once you have a new date let all your guests know.
Another option is to downsize to your closest friends and family and have a larger reception later on when the virus has been resolved. You would still need to make sure that your vendors will be available, and see if you can use any deposits for the later party and scale back what you'll need for the smaller event.
It really sucks. But the health of you, your guests, and your vendors is the most important thing right now.
