The wineries are beautiful and there are tons of hotels to boot....if they love ya...they will drive lol

We went to their open house for weddings thinking it would be maybe $25K. The coordinator emailed us back a few days later with a price and it was over $50k. The place was gosh darn lovely but we just can't do that. We actually thought about doing a vineyard wedding since we both love wine but we didn't think our families would go that far haha. And way to stick to what you want!!!

i got pricing at Casa Loma and Greydon hall and was like HOLY! lol

Since we are from this area and have been to the mill for dinners and brunches, that was a major contender right away. The next was a vineyard wedding in Niagara at this winery called Ravine that we adore. I emailed what seemed like every winery in niagar on the lake to compare packages but after touring the mill and ravine, we chose the mill. its just so us My inlaws wish we picked somewhere else so we coul have invited more people but my FH and i wanted 130 or less haha

We were considering Casa Loma but they wont accept arms and legs as payment so we're passing on them haha. The Toronto Botanical Gardens, The Royal Ambassador, and The Arlington Estate are all on the list but we haven't seen them yet so if Ancaster Mill is in our budget and we think its great, we probably wont even look at the other places.

We haven't been to many venues but I've emailed a lot and some of the prices are insane! Just because its Toronto?! No thank you! I definitely will! And recommendations would be awesome!

Coming out this way is great! you'll have to send me a note and let me know how the meeting went and hwat you thought of the place! If you decide to go ahead, i can suggest some vendors or photo locations for you! I live in Waterdown and grew up in the area! Also i think compared to Toronto $$, the mill should be much more cost friendly. We looked at some venues in Toronto and was like wait how much ?!?

We are looking at the Govenor's Room and the chapel as well actually! It seems like they would be willing to work with us so thats whats making us extra excited haha! Even my fiance is excited about it lol! We are in Toronto so it's about an hour's drive but we feel that's reasonable enough. And we kind of still don't know yet! We know 2019 for sure and either the end of March or early October. My fiance will be doing an internship that year and his start date will determine our wedding date unfortunately. However we should have that info by the end of this summer so all is good

Are you looking at the Govenor's room? We are 130 and thats the room that we booked and we booked the chapel there as well.

its gorgeous! they do have a variety of pricing packages available so it does work with a variety of budgets so hopefully they have a package that works for you!

This makes me so much more excited! It's literally exactly what I want! The one thing I'm worried about is it being out of our budget but I have a feeling if it's as amazing as we hope it is,we'll find a way to make it work.
