Venues: This is where it gets a little tricky. The Prestige Inn. They'll supply all the tables and catering and whatnot. It's a beautiful location and definitely the top of the list. But we also want to have an outdoor occasion and they don't really have a space for it. My fiancees parents have a large enough space, but it's a matter of being able to use the space.
Catering: The Prestige Inn will cater and we've already gone through the menu preemptively to make sure they have everything we'd like. If we don't end up with the location, it'll be more 'late night, backyard BBQ' with platters rather than dinner.
Music/DJ: My fiancee would love a live band but we really haven't looked that far into it. If it's just the backyard reception, an iPod will suffice.
Wedding Cake: No wedding cakes here! Neither of us love cake, so pie is the way were going. We want to go with individual pies so everyone gets to have their own, depending what they'd like.
Photography: My fiancee has an old friend who we're hoping will have the time to do it.
Flowers: We hoping to stay away from the real flowers and just make paper ones that can be recycled afterwards. Less harm to the environment.
