I'm so excited to have all of the wedding photos taken on the Big Day!

We just got our engagement photos back from the photographer this weekend - such a fun shoot - and all I want from our wedding is to capture photos with similar vibes: cute candids and lots of laughing all around!

Not a huge fan of the very obviously posed shots throughout the day; we're both pretty awkward and wouldn't pull off the super elegant portraits ahaha, we'd much rather have a ton of photos of us and our guests enjoying the day.

For us, the posed photos are the ones we send to family cuz that's what they want. We definitely prefer the candids but at the same time, if everyone is dressed up all nice and everything, I want photos that show the whole outfit.

I just want lots of candid photos. Not all those stiff poses of people standing in awkward groups lol

I wanted a first look, and because my husband's parents couldn't be there i requested a list of shots his mom wanted. Her list was siblings and the couple, just the boys, and just the girls. I asked my new sister-in-law to be the one to zip me into my dress and our photographer captured that for her as well.


At our photographer's request I shared a Pinterest folder of poses and shots I liked, but I trusted her 100% to capture our day and she did a fantastic job.

I do have one big pre-wedding photo I want. Since we have a daughter together I want a picture of her with her hair done nicely trying in my wedding dress. I need a lot of pictures with family and we'll have a list of all those. I also love this picture
We will be having a first look so there will be a lot of pictures then. I am also hoping to do a horse drawn carriage ride in Niagara-On-The-Lake. I think the old buildings in the background will be amazing.

We will be recreating these photos for our wedding for our must haves!
