Music; thinking of going with a DJ.

Jamie, on September 8, 2019 at 16:06 Posted in Wedding reception 0 4

I don't want to spend ridiculous about money on a DJ, any suggestion?

Thinking, just have a playlist made and just have that playing.. I can have someone to keep an eye on it.
or hire a beginner.. Any other suggestions?

Is there an alternative idea?

Definitely look for someone new to the industry versus just having a playlist on an iPhone. DH and I attended a wedding like that once and it didn't really go off smoothly.

I thought about using students or beginners just don't know where to look for it.
    Thank you for your suggestions

I think for a wedding it is better to have a DJ than a playlist because they can read the crowd, and know how to keep people on the dance floor.
Check out new DJs or even students who need some experience.

Perhaps try asking a DJ who is on Twitter how many RT's for them to play for free? A local DJ here in WPG said 250k RT's and they got almost 400k...
