My FH and MIL are trying to come up with songs
He loves country and old rock
So does she
But she wants a meaningful song (I said one you both like would be meaningful . Or one you always listen to together )

Shes looking up songs like a mothers song .
My FH wont tell her he doesn't like them but he calls them many variations of lame and bad

Any Song suggestions?

I'm not much for country too.
The song that we chose was A Mothers Song by Jim Brickman. Its a beautiful song with a deep meaning. That was the song we both danced at our wedding. Husband's danced with his aunt and I danced with my mom. It made some people cry.

I am leaning towards the song Slow Down by Nichole Nordeman. I'm thinking of it being my Father & Daughter dance song but it works for a Mother & Son dance as well IMO. I was thinking we could even have both me and my Dad and my FH and his Mom dance at the same time!

When my brother got married he used Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw as his dance with our Mom. I'm not a country fan, but it's a lovely song!
