Hi everyone! What is everyone’s thoughts on menu cards? Are they needed, and if so why? Should each plate receive one, or one per table?

Menu cards are a nice touch to add for guests to know what they are eating. Timings for late night buffet and bar may be helpful. I did create the menu card to match the wedding card colour and escort card design to be cohesive. This is what the result that was great. 2 per table on a ring holder bell used for kissing.

My fiance and I are doing for each person. Depending if we still have buffet next summer if not, then we're still going to have one for each person, I'll just have to switch up the menu card that I have made up. We're saving a lot of money by printing at home.

If you want to save on costs, you can do without them. They can be nice though in the moment, but it’s likely not many guests would keep them and they’d end up getting recycled anyways.
We’re having menus just because our venue provides them and our guests order the day of rather than reserving their meal choice ahead.

It's not needed per se but I think it's nice. I'm doing one power table so it's less cluttered but most weddings I've been to give one per seat.
