Hey everyone!
We asked my fiancé’s step dad to be our MC and he’s happy to do it but a bit nervous as he’s never done something like this before!
im wanting to give him some sort or guideline that will make it easy for him!
Does anyone have suggestion or maybe templates we can customize? Thank you

These are all good resources! I may forward them to my MC closer to the date!
I think the most important thing is to have a timeline of events and share it with your DJ, coordinator and MC so everyone's on the same page. Also, I would write out all the VIPs names (wedding party, parents) so there's no issues with pronunciation. Luckily for us, the hardest name to pronounce is my last name, which the MC already knows how to pronounce lol

Our DOC, DJ, and MC will all be getting a timeline for the day of the wedding. Just basically saying when we want our speeches, first dance, other dances, shoe game, cake cutting, etc.

So what both my fiancé’s brother & sister did for their weddings was a timeline for the day, and on there it actually included when the MC was to announce things and what to announce. I would recommend maybe doing something like that and giving it to him with enough time that he can write out how he wants to say everything! The timeline was really convenient and I know their MCs had a hold of them all night!
