Hello fellow spring brides! Do you think it'll be too cold to hold an outdoor reception mid-May in Toronto?

It's still quite cold. Also still a chance of flurries or snow on the ground. If you want to go with May I would do it the last week

In my opinion yes, I’m cold all the time and usually cold outside until end of June lol. But if you do an outdoor ceremony it would be nice to let people know that way they can dress accordingly!

I agree with Hank, definitely have an indoor backup just in case. Any weather before the Victoria Day long weekend is risky in terms of rain (sometimes snow!) and cold

It won't be super warm but it could still be chilly. My bigger concern for May would be the rain so I think you'd need an indoor Plan B regardless. It's also a huge allergy season.
