So the day went perfectly but not as planned. It was supposed to thunderstorm but thankfully it stormed from 6-7am. Throughout the rest of the day it alternated between sunny and overcast. Our DOC asked at 2 if we wanted our ceremony setup indoor or outdoor and we said outdoor. It was beautiful and sunny from 2 right up until we finished family photos around 4:45. We got some wedding party photos in the rain and then had the reception. After dinner it cleared up again so we got more photos.
We forgot to set some of the decorations up, our makeup/hair artist showed up half hour late, the present I got my husband cut his finger (oops) but at the end of the day it was amazing!! It went by so fast but we snuck away several times for some private moments to soak it all in. Our DJ finished at 1 and during the last song my husband and I slow danced and I put my head on his shoulder, closed my eyes, and just listened to everyone singing and dancing around me.
I am now Mrs Longhorn and I couldn’t be happier!
