Marriage License

I'm not sure if you're still looking, but in Toronto and Whitby you can fill out the application online and then pick an appointment date to go and show your ID, pay and pick up the license. We just did it a week or so ago and have an appointment for Sept 1 in North York.

Youll have to call around and see. i feel like things have been changing on a day to day so its hard to tell. but i know some farther places are issuing some but how far do you want to drive

Since you're getting married in September, there's no point in checking now since even if you get a marriage license within the next few weeks, you can't use it as it's only valid for 90 days. The earliest you can get it mid-late June depending on when your September wedding is. Ontario is saying they're opening up Phase 1 by Thursday so just be patient.

The odd places I've found are still issuing them by appointment. I'd suggest doing a bit of a search in your area of all the places you can think of. The closest place to me issuing them that I can find is Cobourg, Ontario - they're also still doing city hall weddings with 5 in attendance. We're going the route of banns with our church.
