You need to go to Access NS (myself and my partner went together and they asked for both of our IDs) and you fill out some paperwork there and they give you the stuff to give your JOP. After the wedding, the JOP will send some stuff to Vital Statistics on your behalf. Then you have to pay for your official Marriage Certificate if you want a copy of it. I think it's about $40.

You will need a marriage license to get married. That is what you will sign the day of your wedding.

A marriage certificate is what you will get after you are married once you send the paperwork to the government.
