I got married at the end of October and am now looking at ordering my marriage certificate so I can begin to change my name. I live in Ontario and have 2 options - regular marriage certificate or certified marriage certificate. Does anyone know if the regular one is sufficient for changing my name on all of my ID or if I will need the certified copy instead?

I am told we need the certified one to legally change your name. I don't know why there's two options, I got married here's the proof. lol
