Making it impossible for guests to hear each other

Zoë, on July 11, 2017 at 07:05 Posted in Wedding reception 0 5

Hello everyone!

Another tip is to make sure the music isn't too loud. Your reception isn't the place for nightclub-level volume. It'll only frustrate your older family members.

We didn't have any concerns about the music volume. The guests heard each other without a problem.

We're not having a DJ but opted for a classical guitarist for our reception. With only 30 people, it will be rather intimate and the music won't be overbearing.

Our DJ has experience with this and we have advised him of this.

That's definitely something we will have to keep an eye on as we are going to be in the barn which is big but not huge. We are less than 100 and the barn door will be open so that should help dissipate some noise.

This is what I'm worried about. Fortunately, we'll be in a big tent and only about 100 people so the speakers shouldn't be too close to anyone!
