Have any of you heard of this? Couples could get married for free in Robson Square in Vancouver at this pop up event. All the couples had to do was bring their marriage license and a $20 donation for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Our officiant participated in this event and I think it's a really neat idea! This was the third year they've hosted it and they had completed 72 weddings by 4 pm!
What do you think of this idea? Would you ever consider something like this? I think it's a great opportunity for couples who want to make it "official" but may not have the funds for a full blown ceremony and reception.
