Looking for suggestions for guest favours.

Jennifer, on March 18, 2017 at 05:27 Posted in DIY 0 7
Hi Brides!
I am looking for ideas for my favours... I already know what I am going to do, but need a neat idea for the box, or jar or whatever. I am planting flowers for my guests . I originally wanted to do succulents, especially for those who do not have a green thumb, but they would spend up costing us quite a bit. So my fiance said what about small plants, which I loved.
So now I just need to find a creative way to present the plants... any suggestions are appreciated!

You still may be able to get some perennials that can get planted in the fall which would be cool. If you do put that on the thank you tag so your guests know. Check out the link below!

That's a good thought. I'm thinking they're going to have to put them in a pot for the winter since we will be getting married in September.

That's cool! My suggestion would be just watch the time of year your getting married as to what can get planted outside and when or if they have to keep it alive throughout the winter.

They could be for either, but probably more so outside. Those are good ideas! I did by small little planters that would be able to go in the ground, but they are not super pretty so I need to find a way to make them look nicer, or just figure out a nicer way all together to present them. But they will be smaller flowers, hopefully in bloom by the time of the wedding.

Oh that's a great idea! We are doing just 3 or 4 different types of flowers and letting the guests choose. But they will all be perennials so hopefully they last a while Smiley smile. I was really hoping to do succulents, but they would add up really quickly

What a neat idea! I think it depends on the size and type, but if it's just a starting plant you could put it inside a planter that goes straight in the ground, and put that inside a simple favor box. You could use eithet a white box or one with your wedding colors. To spruce it up you could put tulle inside the box first. You could also get little planters and paint them in your wedding colors. Are they plants meant for indoor or to plant in a garden?
